Green chilly -8 nos
Small onions 10 nos
Raw mango 2 small (big-1)
Curry leaves few
Water one cup
Coconut oil 2 tsp
salt
For grinding
Coconut ½ coconut
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Pepper powder ½ tsp
Garlic 7 cloves
Ginger medium piece
Using a mortar and pestle crush grated coconut, turmeric, pepper, garlic and ginger. You can even grind coarsely using a mixer grinder Put all the ingredients in a kadayi/chatti (natholi, green chilly, small onion pieces, row mango pieces, coconut mixture, curry leaves, salt and water ) mix them properly.
Cook covered for about 20 minutes.
Do shake the chatti occasionally
Remove from the stove top & pour coconut oil
Decorate with curry leaves of your choice
