Vanpayar mezhukkupuratti is an essential side dish in a typical kerala meal. It is rich in protein and tasty side dish for rice.
Ingredients
Vanpayar 1 cup
Onion 1 big
Garlic 1
tsp(sliced)
Dried red chilly 3 nos
Water
½ cup
Oil
4 tsp
Curry leaves
few
Salt
Method:
First wash the vanpayar then soak it in water for 3 hour
Pressure cook till done (2 whistle)
Heat a pan add 3 dried red chilly remove the flame after the
red chilly hot
Let it cool and grind the dried red chilly
Heat oil in a pan add garlic saute it, add chopped onion,
and curry leaves and salt
When it transparent add crushed crushed red chilly saute it
Add cooked vanpayar saute it
Remove from the flame after 5 minutes.
